TO UGHA MEMBERS FOR DONATIONS

UGHA meetings and other specific events have been video taped since 1982. The technology of video filming has greatly improved over time, but certain early classic performances, despite their lesser quality, have been included in this compilation because of their historical content. All video transfers have been digitally remastered from one-half inch tape replayed on professional Panasonic equipment. The sources for the audio include multi-track stereo, hi-fi monophonic and early linear. The audio has been carefully mixed and re-mastered onto the digital master tape. Extensive time and effort has gone into the re-mastering of both the picture and sound quality The Best of the UGHA Vocal Group Video Collection represents a high quality transfer from the master to digital tape.

We wish to acknowledge the long-standing support of Frank Bartholomew and David Rocir, who video tape the UGHA meetings and other concert events. Without their support this video compilation would not be possible.

The hard work and support of Mike Marchowski from T.M. Group Sound is also greatly appreciated.

This UGHA Video Box Set will become a treasured and historic collection of the "Very Best" UGHA performance's ever recorded. There are two companion sets available for $50.00 apiece. Set one features sixty-one (61) classic performances from UGHA concerts taken over the past eighteen years. Set two features 64 of the finest accapella performances to grace the stages of UGHA. Many of the accapella performances are featured R&B groups doing some rare accapella, such as, the Jarmels performing "Will You Love Me Tomorrow", the Solitaires with "Please Remember My Heart, the Sunbeams collector's classic "Please Say You'll Be Mine" and an incredible performance of "Little Boy and Girl" by Pearl McKinnon and Kodaks.

INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORDERING: All tapes are in VHS format only and are sold unedited. Groups are listed in order as they performed (some groups perform more than once at a meeting thus their name is listed more than once). All shows (unless otherwise noted) took place at Schuetzen Park Banquet Hall, North Bergen, NJ. All shows (unless otherwise noted) consist of two (2) tapes priced at $39.95/set. You must include $3 p&h for every two (2) tapes ordered regardless of price of complete set.
